RSI – REPETITIVE STRESS INJURIES
- is an "injury to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems that may be caused by repetitive tasks, forceful exertions, vibrations, mechanical compression, or sustained or awkward positions". RSIs are also known as cumulative trauma disorders, repetitive stress injuries, repetitive motion injuries or disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, and occupational or sports overuse syndromes.
STRESS RELATED HEALTH HAZARDS.
Stress related issues can be categorized in three stages.
Stage 1: Increased heart and respiratory rate, disturbed digestion, emotional imbalance, reduction in immunity.
Stage 2: Headache, sleeplessness, skin disorders, decreased sexual interest and increased infections due to collapsed immune system. Stress is the major reason for the most dreaded skin disease called Psoriasis.
Stage 3: You will become irritable, aggressive, restless, inefficient, withdrawn and moody with an uncontrollable urge to cry and finally leading to nervous breakdown.
